Quantified sensors selected for the Autonomous Greenhouse Challenge 2024

We are proud to communicate that Wageningen University and Research selected Quantified sensors for data acquisition in the 4th edition of the Autonomous Greenhouse Challenge!

In this Challenge, the sensors will be used to collect a vast amount of climate and soil data as input for the AI models of greenhouse and crops. The FireFly - Poseidon sensors enable wireless sensing of soil moisture, -EC and -temperature together with localized climate parameters. The technology was validated within the EIP-AGRI project “Nursery Stock Growing Support System”, in collaboration with the Landwirtschaftskammer Nordrhein-Westfalen and Wageningen University and Research.

Quantified Sensor Technology has a wide range of wireless sensors available and is continuously adding new sensors to its portfolio, latests addidtions are a wireless young plant trays scale and pointed leaf sensor.

Feel free to contact us if you would like to learn more about our systems.

We wish all the competing teams inspiration and creativity, and of course an abundance of healthy tasty dwarf tomatoes!
